As the coronavirus pandemic continues to spread and we are all staying at home to most effectively practise ‘social distancing’, finding things to do to keep busy can often be a challenge. Whether you are working from home or simply staying indoors, here are our tips to keep you and the family busy.
PICK UP A HOBBY
Use this time to re-discover old or new hobbies. I’m sure we all have a hobby that has taken a back seat due to lack of time or will. Start learning an instrument, learn a language or even take the time to learn a new skill.
SET GOALS
Keep yourself motivated and set yourself some daily or weekly goals. Whether it’s setting yourself work goals or having a spring clean and de-cluttering your wardrobe by the end of the week. Have something to work towards to get your sense of achievement.
GO VIRTUAL
Keep in touch with friends and family and get dates in the diary. Set up a virtual game night, dinner, drinks night or stay connected to a loved one a dress up for a fancy date. With technology on our side there is no better time to make the most of it!
GET CREATIVE IN THE KITCHEN
Whether you already class yourself as a chef or are keen to learn, get cooking. Bake a cake with the kids, do some meal prep for the week or make your own face mask.

EXERCISE AND STRETCH
There are no excuses, you don’t need the gym to stay fit. It’s important to keep exercising to keep your immune system strong. Take your daily allowance to stretch your legs outside, set up a circuit in the garden, run up and down the stairs.
PAMPER YOURSELF
Unwind and take up the opportunity to throw yourself a pamper night! Light a candle, put on a face mask and keep your skin moisturised and hydrated. Make sure you have some ‘me time’.
